Yep, I'm a 55 / 56 fan, never carried much for the 57. Grew up around the drag strips and loved the 55 and 56 gassers! I do not like Chevys, none of them, except for the 55 and 56s, they are the one exception for me.

I was never a fan of the drooped hood front on the 38 deluxe and the 39 standards. I love the 38 standards and the 39 deluxe, but also the 40 standard.

I agree. The 55 Chev is so clean in styling to look at, the whole car & i love that egg box grill. The 57 is too busy for my likes.

I like the 40 Deluxe because we didn't get them here in NZ as we were already in WWII then. The 39 Deluxe in cpe form is really something though.
