It's my opinion, and I'm sure others disagree, but Model A Fords aren't as safe as a modern car, especially at speeds over about 45.

Here's a link to a news article - -old couple out for a drive in their model A - -both killed when the car hit a tree.

If they'd hit the tree in a new car, they'd probably both be alive. -(new cars have seat belts, air bags and gas tanks in the rear)

My post above reflects this opinion.
