I have been lucky to have both and the 32 is all steel were the 31 is a wood subrai & lpost and much more carrige built. The top on a 32 is alot easier to pull up and down as well. I can toss up the top at a traffic light on my 32 but the 31 is alot more fragile with the post on the door /tops.
