Default RHD Drag link

Likely a silly question, but thought I better ask since I don't know for a definate. Are the RHD drag links shorter or did Ford use basicly the same link and just reverse the ball on the tie rod? This question is bacause of a possibly early drag link I have out at the farm. I am thinking it was cut down and rethreaded for a different use. Also what sort of value do the early link ends have without the cap or the link itself? Thanks Rod
