408W(351 stroked) & C-4 or 400M & C-6

Considering either a 351/408 stroker & C-4 or a 400M (Cleveland) & C-6 for my 1956 Bird. Objective is strong street performer (I just gotta have at least 400 CID) for fewest (<$6,000?) bucks. Anyone know of off-the shelf headers for either combo to fit my bird? Will the C-6 fit without mods to the firewall, etc.? Any other info?
