Default 1926 Model T Project

My father has a 26 Model T 2 door sedan that he started to restore in the early 80's. I was a kid when he first started working on it. He has done most of the body work and the frame, engine, transmission, wheels are all finished and are assembled, so I have a rolling chassis. The engine has not been run since it was redone. different family circumstances can up and the car was put aside and that is how it is today. I want to finish the car, but feel overwhelmed on where to begin. I have thought I should start with the running gear and get that finished and get the engine running, so I know I have a running chassis before starting to gather the parts together finish the body work and paint. Any advice , suggestions and if you know of any books that can help that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
