Paint Question - Town Sedan Sill Color

[RTC1930]

I'm getting ready to paint my 1930 Town Sedan 155 this week and am trying to determine what the Sill color is supposed to be (rib just above rear fender and below doors). I'm painting the car Ford Maroon and Black. According to the Paint and Finish Guide the sill is supposed to be black but I see more cars with it painted the body color then black and honestly cant recall what it was before I stripped it. Just checking, is a black sill correct?
