Default 1936 speedometer.... 150 mph?

How far up did the speedometer go up to in 1936? Everywhere i look, they only go up to 100 mph, but i was talking to a guy that said he has one that goes up to 150 mph. Seems pretty high for a 36, but maybe im wrong. Just curious if anyone knows for sure, and if they go up to 150, was it only in a certain type of body style? Thanks
