Default Speed Week @ Bonneville 2012, Who's Going?

I AM!!.....Got a call from a friend in Baltimore last Friday night wanting to know if I would be interested in going to the Bonneville Salt Flats this year as part of a trip he is putting together. He knows I have been TALKING about going for several years now but that's all it has been so far is TALK. He didn't even finish his part of the conversation before I said, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! OF COURSE I WANT TO GO!!!! So now the plans are being set to make a five day trip to Utah. Four of us old car guys will be flying out and spending three days on the salt as "Rookie Spectators". Here is a guide that one of the guys sent me if you care to read up on some of this http://saltflats.com/Getting%20Started%20Guide.html
I know many of you folks have been there and done it, probably some have been there numerous times, but I am really excited about my first trip. We have already booked our rooms at the Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino and we will be booking our flights soon. Yea Ha!!

I wish we were driving or trailering our cars out.... but, oh well....maybe the next time.

Now, who else from the Fordbarn is possibly planning to be there this year for Speed Week?? Let me know here or with a PM/E-Mail. I would like to meet up with any of you who are going. Thanks!!
