Default Re: Holley 94 Rebuild - Secondary Carb

Finally got around to installing the Edmunds intake on my C69A. Lots is small “issues”
1. Since the Edmunds intake flange face where the fuel pump/breather stand mount is higher than the Ford aluminum intake, I require the longer fuel push rod. I have the longer rod, and it’s 1” longer.
2. The Edmunds intake has 4 less mounting holes to attach it to the block. As such, I no longer mounting bolts to support the plug wire loom tube in the driver’s side.
3. For the generator to clear the first carb, I had to drop it very low. There is now less than 1/2” clearance between the bottom of the generator body, and top of the intake. This now makes my current Gates Hi-Power II V-belt (B55) too long. I got a B50 and it’s too short. Haha!
4. The port for the distributor vacuum line on the Edmunds is big in the same place, so I had to fab up a new vacuum line. The port on the Edmunds intake is located between the two carb bases.
