Thanks to the guys in the steering box lube thread i decided to check the grease in the '37 box. it took a small amount of grease. as kube had said he drilled and tapped the fill plug although sounds like a great and handy idea i choose to just remove the plug and fill box with my needle attatchment for grease gun that i bought for a cv joint i believe for one of my other vehicles some years ago. also i could use a new fill plug,is getting worse for the wear.
