My thoughts are the bend looks more to be from a stump, or pole, etc. Iirc, some 1933 pickups used a bumper with no stripe (front only of course). Check the inner hole centers... if about 22" is could be a 1933.


Now what is REALLY interesting is Mercman's photos. While the outside has the two stripes, the 1935 has a single wide stripe on the inside where the 1936 has a double stripe. The center between the stripes is more defined and a different shape than the 1936. Is the double inside stripe a somewhat common variation? Early aftermarket? Australian?
