Default Huckster spare tire hanger

I found a photo of an AA spare tire hanger--https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40461&highlight=AA+spare+tire+bra cket and noted that it hangs between the frame rails. The AA frame is strong enough for this configuration, but i would like to accomplish the same under the bed of my huckster. Since there is no frame aft of the rear diff, the weight of this hanger and tire would be borne totally by the oak 2 x 10s . I don't think the body would tolerate that weight in that location. Has anyone tried an A-frame hanger attached to the rear X-member, probably using the spring U bolts. Comments please.
