Default Crank bearing plate

'29 Phaeton, engine # says built in April. My bearing plate has two nubs that should match two dimples in front crossmember. problem is the nubs are 2 3/4"
apart, and the dimples in crossmember are 2 1/2" apart. So the crank plate won't sit flat on crossmember. This is how I found it when I removed the front leaf spring(broken center leaf). Has anyone come across this?
I don't have dimensions for a 1930 and later bearing plate. My frame is a late 28 or early 29,
since it has the cutouts for the '28 brake system in the middle crossmember, (has the '29 brake system installed) but the frame serial # is corroded away. Les Andrews Red Book pg 278 shows I have the correct crank bearing plate plate for a '29. Any insight would be helpful, thanx. Or I may just make a new dimple in the crossmember, not preferred tho.
