What type of bearing clearances were you running for the rear main? I always open the rear main up a bit more than the front two - as it tends to expand more due to the heat from the clutch.
Just curious if you happen to know?

A friend of mine built it and ran it in his dragster for a number of years. He's built several flatheads and being a machinist is very particular and capable. However, anything is possible,
