I've met some of the best people from all over the country and a few places down under as well.
5 years ago I was totally down and out emotionally for a variety of reasons. John Mason called me from out of the blue and invited me to TROG in Pismo Beach and the Western Meet in Bakersfield. We had the time of out life and better therapy than any couch could give me.
As Frank said. If you join, get involved by attending meets, the membership cost is worth it. I've attended many national meets and I have never been bored for one minute at any of them. I started attending in my early thirties and I'm 41 now. I was one of a few young people there and I've had some of the best times with guys like Frank and John Mason. Plus, taking your V8 Ford to the meet makes it all the more enjoyable.
