callbald Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2014 Location: Leo, Indiana Posts: 235	Jump 6 volt system with 12 volt portable jumper Is there a 12 to 6 volt reducer that can handle the amps of a portable 12 volt jumper. Jumping with a 12 volts will blow the gauges and and motors. I am buying a 54 Ford automatic and there is no pushing this car to pop start it.
