Shift knob info

Stock Model A shift rod is threaded 5/16-24. Many (but not all) of the current shift knobs are 16mm x 1.5 . In order to get one of these new knobs to fit the Model A a metal plug/adapter that threads into both is needed. Do a search on Ebay for "5/16-24 to 16mm x 1.5 Custom Shift Knob Adapter" to find such an adapter - around $7 or $20 on Amazon for the same thing.
