On your first picture, we can't see the manifold well enough to determine what it is. Your picture does show that the generator is at least 8" long, so it looks like it would be questionable if it would fit in the space shown by the O/P.

On the second picture, you do see that the 8BA manifold pictured has the "Edmunds" script in front of the carbs don't you? There's a lot less room on the O/P's manifold. As I said, I'm not sure, but I'd sure check it out.
