Default Potter Mfg, Co. Trunk -

Just acquired a Potter Mfg. Co, trunk in wonderful condition from the attic at an estate sale. It appears to be unused with only minor scratching on the outside. The chrome corners, latches and hinges are perfect.
The dimensions are 18" high, 16.5" deep and 36.5" wide at the base.
The leather handles are slightly dry , but intact and in good condition.
The inside is like brand new and the wooden floor looks like it has never been used. There are 4 drilled holes in the bottom.
Would love some info. Someone told me this went to a early 30's Ford, but the 36.5" width seems to large. Would think it was more likely for a Lincoln, Caddy, or Packard...
Any help would be appreciated....What is it worth?
