modela4shane Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 165	Piston ring top and 2nd. Up or down groove I am fitting piston rings on a 255 Merc. and i am using a old set of rings fro Egge. This is just a box of loose rings with no instructions. What ring is for top and 2nd groove? One ring has NO dot and a INSIDE groove and the other has NO dot but a out side groove. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
