Default 33 Harsh noise

My 33 has always had a very aggressive noise during heavy acceleration not unlike an exhaust rubbing on the chassis or body. I even installed new engine mounts as well as G/Box mount done by Lawrie. It just seems like the motor is bolted direct to the chassis just like my old race car was.
My question is The engine & gearbox are rubber mounted to the chassis but, the anti chatter bars are not therefore a direct contact to the chassis.
Am I missing something or could noise be transferred through the bars.
