Default Re: Dearborn G N Meet

Hi Everyone, I tried to add something a few days ago, but being on the road, it failed.

Seeing Charlie & Alice is a highlight for me. I have a trans, rear, fuel pump, and steering, among other systems, that he's rebuilt, in my '36 Phaeton.

Charlie's seminar was very educational. He really just gave away a bunch of his techniques for our benefit. Who knew he goes to such lengths to create as perfect a product as he does!

Mac VanPelt's transmission talk had me mezmerized. Mac is obviously very knowledgable about this area and it came through. He's very good speaker and he brought a bunch of show&tell for us. There was a rush to the stage when he was done, from people wanting his attention.

Pat's spark plug talk was also very enlightening and he had great show&tell too, with a small part of his spark plug collection, and excellent visuals to project on the big screen.

I really had a great time hanging with all my "road buddies". They are the family I pick vs. the one I was born into! I should be back home by next Monday and can start organizing the best of my pictures.
