adding std bypass oil filter

Hi,

I've been looking through the threads, but cant actually find an answer.

My 8BA has no filter. I wandering if fitting the original bypass filter is as simple as buying one and installing it. Do I need to drill and tap the case somewhere....where do the take-off and return lines go?
is there anything else I need?
