I'm the "odd man out" on this thread. My 45 1/2 ton is like a BMW motorcycle, you see it go by, you don't hear it. The loudest noise it makes is the starter turning the motor over. When I put the clutch in you can hear the throw-out bearing turning. One of my friends calls it my stealth truck because he can't hear it when I drive up to his shop even when he has the door open. I'm not wanting to offend anyone for their choice of mufflers but, I outgrew all that noise thing fifty years ago about the same time I started loosing my hearing from too much loud noise.
