Angry 1935 horn wiring problems

Ok I am trying to get two new horns wired up on a 1935 restoration. The wiring harness has 6V to ground on the two yellow wires on each side. On the Blue Yellow wire I get a short to ground when the horn button is depressed and a break when it is released on both sides.

This Seems correct to me at this point, so this is where the fun begins.

I have two new 6v horns from Dennis Carpenter or some other vender.

I have taken them apart to see which terminal is ground and which goes through the electro magnet. If I check both the terminals they short to each other and to ground (not sure if that is correct).

When I hook up the right horn it works correctly (it works with the horn button) but I get 6v to ground on both wires on the left. and can't hook the other horn up.

Any thoughts anyone. Could the problem be in the horns themselves?

thanks
