Thumbs up Refurbished Moto-Meter with hood ornament

Some pics of my newly refurbished original Ford Moto-Meter. The Fench
"naked babe with wings" hood ornament really sets it off. The Meter was
an eBay win that had the dreaded "red-all-the-way-to-the-top" dieses.
I was able to get the fluid back down and replated the body and rims.
The beautiful repop faceplates, new lenses, gaskets & screws came from Snyder's. I brushed over the rims with flat black model airplane paint.
Let it dry for a short while and then lightly wiped over the tops of the design with thinner. It didn't turn out half bad if I do say so for myself.
