Hi Guys,
This may be better suited for HAMB but Fordbarn has been my old friend for so many years and I think some of you may be able to help me out. Modern carburetors are rated by their CFM rating on a flow bench. You can compare modern carbs readily but not so readily with old ones. I have seen some info on Stromberg 94s & 97s but didn't file the info away and now don't know were to look. Where do I look for a Zenith A carb, Zenith B, Tillotson, maybe some Winfields, Weber 32/36 progressive etc. Info on what you use, what you prefer and why would be nice too. I run a Weber 32/36 progressive and like it but how does it compare with others. I'd rather avoid multiple carbs. My Zenith B seems almost comparable. Thanks, Richard Anaheim CA Last edited by Richard in Anaheim CA; 06-05-2015 at 11:56 AM. Reason: Spelling CFG to CFM |
