Shifter hitting heads
Got the motor in the car 1941 ford 59ab motor with offy 400 heads 3speed column shifter and the rod for 2nd &3rd gear hits the back side of head. The lever is cast so I don't think I can bend it? I did make it shorter and it looks like it goes in gear on both but the neutral position seams different..... Haven't stared the motor yet to test but anyone ran into this before? And what to do do to resolve this?
