It looks like no one reproduces these. Will a 40 regulator work ok?

I'm not sure if a 40 will work but the 39 had what they called a smokers vent that moves the glass to the rear and then down while the 40 had a wind wing.

No, 1940 is completely different than 1939.
Sedan regulators (NOS) are readily available on eBay.

I am planning on using 39 doors on my 40 tudor build [if I can find a good drivers door to go with the passenger door I have] and wondering what to do about regulators. I will look on Ebay. Thinks to all.

Thanks Mike, but don't think coupe regulators will work in a tudor sedan.

I know that the 40 coupe and sedan regs are different, I assume the 39's are also. I will research that.
