Default Spring Trip to Gilmore Museum

I am planning a tour this Spring/Summer for our local 60 member Model A Club going to the Model A Museum at the Gilmore. In January, I hope to give a presentation to our club describing the museum and I would like to use some photos of the museum and grounds. Would any fellow ‘barners be willing to share with me some photos I could use in such presentation?

Please send me a private message with your email and I will send you pictures.

Our company, Valley City Sign, produced and installed all of the exterior and interior signs for the Model A Museum in addition to restoring the gas pumps and the light fixtures from the Twin Cities Ford plant. I have hundreds of photos. It was a great project, combining my Model A hobby with our business.

Here is a link to the Gilmore site for more info - www.gilmorecarmuseum.org

The Model A museum is great but that's only 10% of what's on the museum grounds. Explore it all.

There are some great pictures on the MAFFI web site of the the grand opening. You will see some of the really neat barns that are used to house the various collections.

Del,

I have plenty of pictures. I also have a brief powerpoint of the Museum history. I need your email address. The Museum is growing fast. The Lincoln Museum walls are up and the Cadillac Museum has the foundation done. There are over 300 cars on display along with motorcycles, pedal cars, and miniatures in over a dozen buildings and old barns. One day is not enough to see everything, but it will give you a reason to come back again.
