Default Door felt channel

I am putting new felt channels in my 31 Tudor. The new felt channels for the door have "hook" clips on the top and bottom. If I hook the bottom in place I can't hook the top in place. Thought I'd ask for help before I bend something that can't be fixed.

On the advice of the retailer that I purchased mine from, I used a good automotive adhesive and glued them in, worked great, but not orignal.

Go to www.ocmafc.com. Click on "tech articles" in the left menu. It will bring up a new menu. At the top is my name click on it and it will bring up a series of articles. Scroll to the one on window channeling. The article is about installation of felt window channels in the doors of a Victoria. However, I think the information will be of some help.
