I sold a '34 truck to a friend that included a fully rebuilt engine with everything minus the generator. He is planning to use the truck as yard art. It is a shame if no one will use the engine. It is listed in the swap section and I think he would take about anything offered for it. I had it rebuilt by a knowledgeable machine shop that specialized in antique engines. Also rebuilt were the water pumps and oil pump, other item also. This engine has never been fired.

That's a deal. It cost me $5,000 for machine shop services and parts with me putting the engine together.

The market has weakened substantially for pre-war cars. Even for cars up through the 1960's. There is a declining pool of buyers as time passes. Young folks just are not connected to these cars emotionally or otherwise. No young person in their 20's has any personal connection to a 1960's era muscle car, yet a pre-war car.
