Default Winfield ABV-156

What was the color of the ORIGINAL Winfield hub puller? I have seen 3 colors. Black, green and blue.

Are you talking about a KR Wilson hub puller or the KRW reproduction by Winfield Tool Works?

Ya know, I have always been confused (as usual) about this. I have been unable to find a picture of the original KR Wilson puller. Every picture that I see is a Wnfield BV-156. It would be great if someone (like Pete) could post a few pictures of the "real deal"

I have always thought the original KRW was red.

An authentic KRW puller is rare. They were red.

My Winfield is light green with a black collar. It is a VERY good replica of the KRW tool. A few hundred bucks if I recall correctly but well worth the cost.

I am thinking about "barn finds" and wondering how many of the original red KR Wilson pullers are out there, on the shelves covered in dust, and the owners wondering what the heck it is???????????

My Winfield is about 25 years old and is the hammertone blue. Mine doesn’t have a wood box, just a cardboard box.
