Default Full flow oil filter oil line

Regarding the oil galley end curved oil line, some are brass, some are steel. Would a firm but not super firm fit be OK? In other words, can the line be easily inserted without resistance ?

My recollection on mine is that it was copper and it was a very tight fit. That’s by design because you’re trying to route all the oil under pressure into that tube.

Herzog,

my set included soft copper tubing. I bent it to fit without tension and finally inserted it into the delivery line with a little sealant.

Thanks, I meant copper. Mine is steel I 'm afraid to use sealant that may push out towards the front bearing hole. The pipe doesn't move when installed.

If it goes in loose insert a tapered punch in the end of copper tube and roll it around to make it a snug fit when you slip it in the galley, https://youtu.be/1RrgR4SKsj8?si=xOn202j3u74XYzPT
