Default 1966 f100

Ford folks,
Just a note here about our new project truck. A 1966 F100 coming out of Kentucky. Has some issues we are working on. Its a modified truck in many ways.

Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

Folks,
I like the red one!
John and I are working on the 66. New rear bumper, king pins, Lokar shifter. Out testing on it today. It runs good. lots of wind noise. Its a project truck for sure.
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

That’s a good looking truck. Got some more pictures coming? What’s it got for a drivetrain?

The 240 6-cylinder was available but one that fancy could be a 352 V8 or a 300 6-cylinder. My Pop had one with a 352 in that time frame. A lot have swapped out 390 FE engines in them.

Looking forward to your progress posts as I did with the Comet Caliente. The truck already looks pretty good. I'm sure you'll make it into showroom condition.

Guys,
This is a good old truck as the PO described it. I have more pictures too.
Engine is a 351W crate engine Supposed to be 350 HP?? No documentation on that. But plenty of ponies for this old man!

Changed out the rear bumper just some additional bling

Vintage PA plate

More testing

New king pins

Ice cream run

hanging in the shop

Retro 15 inch steering wheel (recommended with the power steering upgrade that was on the truck

Also the 66 has front disc brakes and power to boot. Nice upgrade

Sure rip the seat out and get it reworked for stiffer seat and thinner back for additional leg room.

Yep go with a Lokar floor shifter to fit the AOD tranny and be much safer.

John checking out the seat

Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

Guys,
This project shop truck needed some body work love. Drivers floor had a couple visible holes. Always worse after you get in there. Plan is to cut out bad and install new material.

Yes rusted up the side panel due to grass and dirt in the void behind the side panel.

This should be much better if I can get some patches welded in place.
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl
