I have had these in my parts stash for ages and thought they were '39's but a buddy of mine said guess again. The lens has the FORD logo. Can someone help?

You didn’t post the code, to be found on the lens: 91A = 1939. 81A = 1938. 78 = 1937.

Lens: 78- (1937), 81A- (1938 and 1939 standard), 91A- (1939 Delxue). note 78- and 81A- functionally interchange.
Rim: 78- (1937, 1938, 1939 standard), 91A (1939 Delxue). My best guess is 1939 deluxe due to the rounded contour of the bottom of the rim, 1937, 1938, 1939 standard are more pointed. |
