Cool 1946 Mercury Truck/grille

Anyone: Will a US 1946 Ford truck grille fit a 1946 Mercury truck grille? Thanks

'46 Mercury truck grille looks very different than the '46 Ford "jailbar" grille.

My guess is that they would be interchangable. Especially so if you are good at filling holes. Are you going from merc grille to ford jailbars or vice versa?

I would agree with GB but would want to hear from a Mercury owner that maybe has some photos or experience with a Mercury front clip before i moved ahead ....

If you change the center sheet metal body panel and grill as a unit it's a bolt in. Going ford to Mercury would be fairly easy with just the bars but the other direction would take a little body work. Tim
