Default Lower radiator hose

My 47 flathead lower hose won’t stop leaking after replacement! Any thoughts? I sanded the neck on the block and installed a new hose because the older previous hose was also leaking.

If the new hose is still leaking, the neck on the block might still be a bit pitted or not perfectly round, which is common on old flatheads and can stop the hose sealing properly. Also check the clamp and make sure the hose is fully seated, sometimes a better clamp or a thin smear of sealant helps seal those small imperfections.
