Default fordson headgasket

hi folks, its not a t but maybe I could get some help. I have a 1923 fordson. I want to here the old girl run. I have a new headgasket. I have no clue from ware but it came with the sale. It has a copper side and i wonder copper up or down? thanks Ken

Smooth side down with fire ring or crush elements up as a general rule. For specific info, you might contact the folks at the Fordson House. They sell the stuff for Fordson F and early N tractors.
