There are a lot of different seal options offered to use when rebuilding a waterpump. Maybe show the different ones and how they are to be used.

When I saw the title to this thread my mind went immediately to Bob Bidonde and his slides. I thought tech presentations are a no brainer using a few of his drawings. I was surprised to see this was Bob's own thread and glad he's got some more ideas to help us out.

How about picking the right spark plug and the different heat ranges the "A" should run with, Physical examples of the different plugs for the "A" and their part number. Will my nos EDISON plugs work? How about a Champion 2X, it's only one number less than 3X. What do the numbers mean? You see, there's a lot to be learned from a spark plug seminar. lrf

Derattling
Use rubber i hammer to pound downward on the bumper ends: any things loose will sing

grab tools, a kool liquid wrench and a sealed paper towel roll (fer your neck) colored sidewalk chalk (different color for tight/ work on later/, replace/,etc.

Open the hoods and look at the cloth tape along the cowl. It like to come loose
Check/replace the hold down clamps. The little springs inside as they like to break. Check to see if the sides will oilcan.

After each tour, review the problems from each car and adjust parts kit you carried
Provide the list to each traveler (For group: maybe 1/2 gens/starters are needed. both size gen pulleys: Little George lost one in the night and rain at Brandywine

Bob, always nice to hear from you!! Jim Gray attended Howard County. He went to the B'mor booth but did not recognize any more. I sold my yellow late l1930 Cabby to a club member.

It would be fun to do a presentation that lists common substances found in tubes, cans, and jars that come in handy when working on your model A. Particularly the more esoteric stuff like sealant for gasoline lines, lapping compound, and homebrew penetrating oil.

This! I don't know how many different types of grease and other more or less fluid stuff i now have in my garage. Some of them i will never use again. But... you are in danger of ending the evening with a big fight, the police and some ambulance arriving on the scene...
