Thanks for the links and the info. I never would have guessed that half-rolled-back is an option. That is a beautiful car you have there. I don't think mine will ever look that nice. Just hoping for a somewhat reliable runner at this point. |

I would recommend lubricating (I use 3 in1 oil) on all the joints. The top material can be replaced, but the top frame, not so much.
This is a good recommendation for a new top. I bought my 53' Merc Convertible top from them and it is perfect." https://aro2000.com/107+112_order_form.htm Leave the top up as much as possible, and cover it, if only with a sheet. |

Sixsquaredford, lol, no this is not my convertible sedan. Mine is 100% stripped out at the moment! But I have been collecting a lot of photos etc for my restoration. Yes they are a very classy motorcar!

Good, while it is striped out, it is easer to lub the joints.
