Several people (John Lawson included) have done comparison dyno tests between stock exhaust manifolds and headers.
It takes at least 3 hp to feel a difference in performance in the seat of the pants. This never happened. They did NOT however compare header types. We DO know for a fact that "W" type make more hp on a race engine if they are big enough. |

What are "W Type" headers? I googled it and got nothing. I can imagine a W configuration but do you have any pics?
Just curious as my only Flathead is in my F3 and stock. |
