Default 1939 Ford window felt kit

I bought a project that had all the window felt removed. The project came with the Vintique kit for all windows. Most of the kit is obvious. Where does the roll go that is on the picture?

Thanks

There is a formed piece for the garnish molding.

That is my thought to protect/seal the top edge of the glass when closed.

With the tacks in the package it looks like its the cat whisker that fits on each side of the glass at the opening.

Likely also. Maybe top and sides. It is attached by adhesive on the underside.

I figured that was it. Not too many other places to put it. I just didn't to put it on and find out it's wrong.

It’s only a year and a half old. Not that old so I’ll try to revive it. 1939 Tudor standard sedan. My garnish molding the inside window frame has the felt or whiskers mostly flat. The window tracks/channels are good. I would just like the whiskers. Any sources with out buying tha whole shebang?

The roll of flat material looks like glass setting tape for the bottom of the window to the window channel.

"Cat Whiskers" around the window opening inside and out. Channels inside the door. That leaves the front/top/back of the door as raw steel. The roll of flocking is to be glued into the door to cover that raw area. This is typical of all Vintiques 1936 and newer kits.

Karl
What are all those small flat-head screws in the Vintique package used for? I know the staples are for the cat whiskers, which were originally stapled to the body and garnish molding. Are the screws an alternative to the staples, because staples are so very difficult to use?
