Thanks for the input and ideas fella's, for all I know before I bought this truck there was no 5/16 nuts on those inner fender well fasteners holding the hood sides in place and some "wing nut" put wing nuts on there.

I actually was able to clean and re-tap one of the other wing nuts but the other ones have the old fastener so rusted in place are junk.

Pictures on hamb ofwing nuts holding shackles on rear spring. Some wondered if it was a misinterpretation of a quick change rearend.

We have three NOS of the stamped 5/16-24 wing nuts if you still need them
