Attention West Coasters
Kent, WA Collector had a large amount of very expensive old car radiator ornaments stolen. He had one of the largest collection of mascots and motometers on the west coast. Also taken was a real neat one of a kind hand made antique steam tractor, about 3 foot long if I remember it correctly. Also a lot of art and very nice wood carvings. The bad guys tore the door frame off the wall and backed the truck right up and cleaned him out. So if you hear about some cool old car stuff going cheap please call Kent Police Department (253) 852-2121 let them know, he is 80 and pretty upset about all of this, most of the stuff is one of a kind, irreplaceable. The wood carvings (not old) are very high quality, women, animals and birds in exotic hardwoods.

Please spread the word!

Anyone going to the Portland Swap meet in two weeks should be on the alert. This stuff could show up there.

Tom, I know where you will be. I usually come over there to your stall to BS. Since I have 4 40s, might pick something up!

I can't even imagine coming home to a scene like that! I will be at the Portland Swap Meet for 4 days. First time to this swap meet in 24 years. Just hanging out and hope to buy some stuff. I will write down these stall numbers. I have been to a swap meet 3 times and only one car show ever. As another example of my location and lifestyle, I have only seen one rat rod in my life in person. I'll be the slack jawed car geek.

Hi all; I have a similar shop break in in July. The robber chopped out the door/ building framing to release the locks. the steel door held, but not the wood building. We counted 19 chop tool marks . These guys are fearless/crazy. You must have an alarm now. Newc
