Default Source for 37-48 Ford steering sector shaft

Any known sources for good quality USA made new sector shafts, 78-3575
or O1A- 3574 worm gear w/out shaft, or good used ? Also a good source for 78-3576-A sector bushings. I see Dennis Carpenter has the bushings, but they are split. Concerned about splint ones pushing in evenly. Thank you Fordbaners.

I've used the split bushings with no problems.

Try the Early Ford Store in San Dimas Ca. or All Ford Parts In Campbell, Ca. Both have big inventories of NOS parts. Both are listed in the links/vendors section on the V-8 Club website.

What is one of these NOS shafts worth nowadays? I have an extra one I'm probably never going to use.

Lawson, Fred Wilner at So Side has NOS, NORS/military ones for $125. for reference. He does not have any worm gears though.

The worm gears are reproduced. There was a thread here just the other day about changing them out.

We bought most of their transmission parts stock last year. I know that they didn't have any of the NOS steering sector shaft assemblies.....for several years. I would have bought a bunch if they did. We recently found one and it's available if you don't find it elsewhere.

I followed up on a couple leads provided by TJ on Early Ford Parts Store & All Ford Parts in CA. The Store has repop worm gears for $75., as well a repop sectors. Waiting to hear back from All Ford Parts. The original sectors, as I posted, are available from Fred at SO Side. Will advise on what I find out about worm gears.
