This is a plate from the 1932 election, as it refers to the Depression and Prohibition.
I wear it on my 68-C along with a 1931 Long Island Motor Parkway "E-Z Pass" |

What are those two fasteners--one on the windshield mast and the other on the door just below the belt line? Some sort of murphy fastener? No need for side curtains on a 68B since it had windows.
Also, when fully closed, the windshield frame on my '31 68B sits outside of the windshield mast; in this picture, the frame seems to be recessed, why? Perhaps a bulletproof windshield? |

They look like the hinge pins, not fasteners.

Having this 31' Ford rigged up as WW2 era car, along with the "B' gas ration sticker and vintage tourist destination window labels, there is a Wendell Willkie plate topper ready to pop on. Figure it to be a "left over" thing from the 1940 campaign against Roosevelt.
