Brent, are you referring to the #17950 retooled reflectors by Bratton's?

The car I just got has two bulb headlamps, but I think they added cowl lamps for parking, and now it appears the parking lamp bulb in the head lamp no longer functions. If that is the case, then it seems if I add a rh tail lamp and get amber bulbs for the head lamp parking bulbs I will have some good options for turn signals.

I'm thinking about the signal stat ( I know it's clunky, but nearly bulletproof), and getting a harness to run to tail lights and the former parking light bulbs in the head lamp.

The car is still 6 volts. What I would really like to find, is a harness like Bratton's 20410 ( set up for 6 volt and signals in the parking light bulb in the head lamp and tail lamp), but with a circuit for cowl lamp parking lamps. There just be a way to wire the car that way.

I have used the ticken thru time hidden setup on 2 cars and love them, no indicator lights but has a beeper and a tiny toggle seitch to mount on the gear shift handle

Even with the headlamps illuminated, you can see the amber flash at night. During the day they are easily seen also. Many modern vehicles use an amber turn lamp emitting from the headlight. Use the Tickin In Time hidden turn signal unit that BJ & Casey manufacture, and you have a very nice safety item that does not look out of place.
Here is a link from Brents post that I found for Tickin In Time, BJ & Casey manufacture.

The Signal Stat 900 works great for me. Wiring I got from Sacramento Vitage. YMMV

Per reply #6, I also have Logo-Lites, with the control box on the far left, under the protruding metal dash.

On cloudy days, at dusk, and at night I found it very difficult and cumbersome to "feel" around for the tiny left & right turn signal buttons.

I installed a hidden, small blade-type-bulb, "trailer side light", (with a hidden toggle switch), under the dash, shining down and illuminating the signal control panel buttons.

I found that "seeing" the buttons at a quick glance made it easy to quickly "feel" and depress the exact correct button.

To borrow Mr. MikeK's educational term in reply #17:

First "seeing" & then quickly "feeling" for the tiny illuminated signal buttons requires far less ............ "Brain Training" ........... than just "feeling" in the dark for the signal buttons in moderate to total darkness.

Hope this helps.

Brain Training Deficiency .............. Sounds like a new, very highly contagious disease usually acquired by select humans after sitting too long on a group of upholstered cushioned seats in Washington D. C.

And this thread was started 7 months ago, still nothing. Wonder if he still has the car?

I have a question about Electro Tech-turnsignal .com unit on a Model A.The instructions caution about electrical pulses interfering with the unit. I called Electro-Tech and he told me generator pulses and spark pulses would interfere.

Using a condenser would fix the generator. How about the brass plug connectors on an A?

On my 30 roadster I used the cowl lights solely for front turn signals and also the rear brake lights for the rear. I had the black signal stat hand control. I left the front 2 bulb headlights for parking lights. I had clear bulbs in the front but it would be better to use amber bulbs if you can get them. In my opinion the amber lenses you can get for the parking lights just don't look right and I preferred to use the clear lenses. I had a separate fused power line for the directionals with the flasher mounted on the left cowl panel.

That's the way I would go if adding signals... Much better than external wires and lights hanging all over the car

I know this has been mentioned before. The Signalstat 800-900 series have no issues with dirty interference, they just keep on signaling away.
I installed LED in the rear including one mounted on the spare [ switched to all red lens which I didn't really want to do]. Fronts use the cowls and amber bulbs in the head lights, all fired with a 535 warp switch.
I'm hoping there won't be an issue with the LEDs burning as some seem to to have had.
