Robert I recommend a good touring engine with some improvements like better cam shaft and hi comp cylinder head
And a overdrive to keep the engine revs low

It's my opinion, and I'm sure others disagree, but Model A Fords aren't as safe as a modern car, especially at speeds over about 45.

http://abc7.com/news/2-killed-after-...flames/964783/

Here's a link to a news article - -old couple out for a drive in their model A - -both killed when the car hit a tree.

If they'd hit the tree in a new car, they'd probably both be alive. -(new cars have seat belts, air bags and gas tanks in the rear)

My post above reflects this opinion.

Be careful out there

Ian, the six number works just put a dot between the 4 and 5, 4.5X6= 27 mph. 45 k =27mph

Hi Robert,

well, I'm in Munich/Bavaria - just pm or mail me and we can have a chat about tuning options without translator.
There are many motorways (Autobahn) in our area not speed limited, allowing to challange your model A :-)
